Java 7 Roadshow Workshops

Java 7 is now out, but what can you actually do with it? In this workshop we showcase some dark corners of existing code and how Java 7 can bring a little Sun into your life (no pun intended - apologies to Oracle).

Featuring:

• Project Coin (Strings in switch, try-with-resources, multi-catch, diamond and more!)
• NIO.2 (new file system and networking I/O)
• Objects
• MethodHandles (no more nasty Reflection!)
• and other goodies we hope to make your lives a little easier.

We'll be handing out VirtualBox images so having a VirtualBox installed will speed things up.
