Getting started with SBT

Overview
Simple Build Tool (SBT) is a great way to manage the build of your environment consistently.  SBT provides a structured file hierarchy for your project (like Maven) and manages your dependencies (similar to Maven).

SBT minimises build times by only compiling what is necessary.  SBT can also run in the background and continually compile and run tests when your code is updated.  Running continuous tests with SBT is a great way to get fast feedback when using a test driven development (TDD) approach.
