Volunteer to help us with Project Leaf Drop 2012

This fall the garden is participating in project leaf drop, which collects fall leaves from the local community for use in our composting operations.

Leaf collection will be every Sunday in November at the garden, from 10am to 1pm.

Volunteers will be accepting bagged leaves from local residents, and answering questions about Project Leaf Drop and NYC Compost Project. There will be light lifting involved (how heavy can bags of leaves get?).

Any time you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
