To ring in the new year, and to make room for more compost, we will be having a compost working bee this coming Sunday starting at 10:30am.
We will be emptying the tumblers and making 'hot pile' layers in the curing bins with leaves collected from the neighbourhood.
The forecast is for clear skies and temps in the low 50's, so it should not bee too cold, but still make sure that you wear lots of layers, and bring gloves and water to drink.
Compost collection re-opens for the year this sunday as well, from 10am to 1pm.
We will keep compost collection open for as long as possible through the winter months, but may need to close from time to time based on available space, and also inclement weather. Changes to the schedule will be posted to this website by 9am on collection day each week.
