Business:

Dave Cortesi spoke about kids on bicycles on footpaths

Monique Lambermons and Mike Kanji gave a presentation on their businesses.

Jack Poutsma gave a presentation on his plans for the BNZ building.

Resolved “that the minutes of the meeting of September 9 are a true and correct record”

Joe gave a financial report. He also reported on the camera project.

Resolved “that the financial report be accepted”

Mark gave a summary of the Community Night held on September 19. A summary of the survey will be sent out by email.

A discussion was had about the mural project. A letter from Sally Macauley outlining the withdrawal of Chris Wilkie from the project.

Mark reported on the Big Spring Clean. Nev Campbell's offer of a special on paint will be made to owners wishing to paint their building.

Mark asked that the following items be placed on the November agenda to be decided on by those present.

1. Identify locations for public toilets in Kaikohe

2. Confirm support, or otherwise for diverting cycleway traffic into Kaikohe

3. Confirm/appoint executive – Mark asked that anyone wishing to be appointed to the executive be able to attend meetings regularly.
