Minutes of the last AGM were read

Moved: that the Minutes of the 2012 Annual General Meeting are a correct record. Lynne/ MikeS Carried

Treasurer’s Report for 12 months to 31 March 2013:

Income: $5449, plus projects $64807, Expenses $8321. In the bank at 31 March 2013 $54563

Moved: that the Financial Report be received.

Moved: That the accounts for the 2012/ 2013 year be sent for review if required

Public Notice for this meeting was in the Northern News only on July 3.

Moved: That the usual two weeks’ notice for the AGM be waived for this meeting Steve/ Brian Carried

Moved: that subscriptions to 31 March 2014 remain the same as for 2013, and that the structure be reviewed before the next AGM.

Chairperson’s Report

Verbal report. BID project as a unifying project for the town, stymied by a vocal group of objectors, was defeated. Town appearance has been tidied. Guy Road improvement for welcome well advanced. Library Lane wall of fame has many faces ready. Economic Development Group working specifically towards job creation. Kelly van Gaalen employed as town coordinator. Put in a 12 page submission towards the FNDC long term plan.
