The Two Steves in September?

From the Two Steves:

We are available Monday/Tuesday/Weds Thursday ie Sept 12th /13/14th /15th

£500 per day (plus expenses!) Not sure what the airfare bit will be yet – the conference in Malaysia will pay for main part of flight but we’ll need to add on the equivalent of KL – Singapore and return. And accom.

For those of you who haven't come across the two Steves before, they are a very funny and prolific writing team from the UK who produce books that boys in particular love.

And they're coming to Malaysia in September 2011 and would be willing to make a trip down to Singapore.

Here's what Steve Skidmore wrote me at the end of January:

<< Re a possible visit – we are at the English Language Teachers conference (ICELT 2011) 18-20th September 2011 at the Swiss Garden Damai Laut Resort in Malaysia. So we could be looking for something either the week before or the week after.

We can offer a wide variety of sessions (please have a look at our newly vamped website www.the2steves.net under school visits) and have visited many international schools over the past few years.

Regarding price – we usually charge £600 per day in UK but are willing to charge less for a visit – we would need to cover costs (ie flights down from Malaysia – the conference is covering return flights to UK - / accommodation / food – we would need a room each) and we would add a nominal £150 on top of this – Until I know how many schools might be involved and I look at costs of flights/hotel etc and split those costs, I’m not sure how this would translate into a daily rate – but I’m sure it would not be above £500 per day?>>
