FYMA Cup has never before been held in such splendor and class. The TD's house selection was a harbinger for FYMA Cup'18, as the entire week was a classy affair, culminating in the crowning of our 2018 Champion. Fratt, er, Richard backed up his strong talk and walked the walk!
Unlike FYMA Cups of the past, this was a run-away for Richard, who was atop the leader board for all four days of the tournament; a quadruple-dicker for the rest of us. With Fratt contained, Richard was free to post low scores on the course and the deck furniture was safe from being tossed to the bottom of the pool. So now that this year's FYMA Cup is in the books, here are a few highlights of the trip. Scores and 2019 handicaps from the 2018 FYMA Cup are posted and can be found on the resources page.
You depart on time, right after the retiree parade.

Chaser and TD were surprisingly prompt to pick up the ASS TD. We arrived at the house at 325p and the maintenance and cleaning crew was still there. So, the first official beers of FYMA Cup '18 were served up at the Reunion Clubhouse while waiting to check in.
BON VIVANT!
Day 0: At the house.
TD had the van packed to the roof, including his smoker! After several hours of unpacking, the first cuppers chose rooms. Fratt arrived and was promptly sent to pick up Rivs and Clarkie. PK, G, and Ant arrived by Uber. Into the night we went: Poker, hamburgers and of course drinks. Someone caught a bird. Back to the Atlantis Lounge.
FLY EAGLES FLY! Congrats Clarkie
It really didn't matter
Did someone get the ice?
Playing the Game of Thrones "Wall" hole
Uppy, uppy boys! TD took a chance on this course and wasn't disappointed. P.K. and Ant come out with strong rounds to tie for the gross lead, but trail Richard by eight strokes for the net lead. The onslaught has begun.
Breakfast and dinner preps
P.K. stripes one down the middle!
Stogies & some jazz juice
FYMA's largest man-soup ever!
Recapping the day's round
Prepping for the ziti dinner

The crowd likes it!
Rivs goes solo!
Bacon, biscuits, and a beautiful colon: Bella Collina, that's French for "beautiful colon", was a fantastic course for day two of the Showdown. "Let the golf-cocktail party begin!" as Sinatra and jazz juice had the Vis and Muddy relaxed, and along with P.K., posted the low rounds of the day. But even Rivs, posting one of his best FYMA Cup rounds, couldn't catch Richard. Fueled by his 48-stroke handicap, the stylish Swinging-Surfer now had a 13 stroke lead. Bon Vivant!
"No, no, no!" - Clarkie
Rivs, P.K., Ant, and Chaser finish Hole #1
...and he didn't burn the house down.
"I tell ya Clarkie, It was a cocktail party!"
Kinger shows up with Begs!
"There was a brownie, a blade, and ..."
Anyone seen Blane?
He even has a set of clubs now!
Moving day. Late wake ups for all. Sausage and gravy breakfast then the arduous 3 minute drive to the home course. A work in progress, the course was convenient and challenging. Muddy and Chaser were tasked with drawing out Fratt in a last ditch hope to make this tournament close. Although tempted, Richard proved to be impervious to this scheme, leaving Chaser barefoot, zip-lining in his cart. Muddy has the low round for the day, but Fratt widens his lead over Rivs by stroking a gross 103, a net 55! Finished the day with filet mignon, wine, and a cigar by the pool. Bon Vivant!
Chop doesn't like Pandora commercials
... and he got a free bowl of soup with that hat
...Muddy used an iron on this hole
The camera must have got into the jazz juice
Glad someone brought the noodles
Pancake breakfast. Now would it really be a FYMA Cup without the TD losing something really importante. This year, it was the van keys. They were right where he put them, crisis averted. Off to golf at the New Course at Grand Cypress. The New Course mimicked St Andrews Old course. TD shoots the low round and maybe a FYMA Cup record at 76. STUD!! Of course the cocktail party resumes with G, Begs, Ant, and Muddy. Closing round followed by dinner at the Twin Peaks. Smoke Show and musky. Richard is the champ going away.
Nice shirt Rivs!
Congratulations Richard!
We'll be back!
Oh, to hear the stories told in this cart
