“Remember the Fourth Annual FYMA Cup”

Welcome back! The fourth Annual FYMA Cup location and dates have been set. On January 29^th, plan your travel to the wild southwest, home of the Alamo, the Spurs, and this year’s FYMA Cup…San Antonio!

The dates for this year’s FYMA Cup Golf Trip are from 29 January to 3 February, plan to arrive on the 29^th and depart on the 3^rd. That leaves four days for bad golf, good food and great friends™. (Yes, I just trademarked that.)

Lodging:

Our lodging has been set. We will be staying at the Casa de Cerveza located at 16375 Revello Dr in beautiful Helotes, Texas. To view our abode, go here: http://www.vrbo.com/471624. The House was chosen to ensure plenty of room, 50" plasma for Superbowl, and our evening tradition of "man soup". It is about 30 mins from the airport, but within 20 mins from 2 of our 3 golf locations and the one course is about 30 minutes. This should be worth it as G will be happy with views of trees and vast hillside before heading to some barren, desert wasteland fighting the taliban.

In addition, Frat & Chop have planned evening entertainment for us with a belly flop completion from the second deck balcony. If we are lucky enough to have Kinger and/or Clarkey join us (we are still hangin on to hope), I am sure a funnel could also be rigged from this scenic deck. Chaser will rearrange the multiple plasma TVs to ensure we can watch the Superbowl from any location in the house. And the hill location will allow PK to work on Rivs game with shot shanks into the forest.

WIFI is available for Anthony to Skype in. However, this is normally frowned upon as careers are on the line. Total price: $1692.23 and a $200 refundable damage deposit. At only 2 bills for damages and under 2K for the entire stay, I say we let Kinger and Clarkey show up as who cares if they wrestle with G and break everything.

Golf:

As San Antonio is one of the country’s up and coming golf destinations, our tournament director has set us up for what looks to be a great weekend of golf.

La Cantera - Palmer Course

The Quarry Golf Club

Saturday 01FEB:

Hill Country Golf Club

Tee Time is at 1000. Cost is approximately $60/person, which includes range balls and cart. This course is 14 miles from the house. Booked 3 T-times and this isthe only good day to play this one as large tournaments happening on other days.

Sunday 02FEB:

La Cantera - The Resort Course

Total Golf Cost: With tax should be $269/person. Besides TPC, these four courses are the highest rated public courses in the area and at these prices, no one should feel bad firing a laser down range or bringing up last night's taco bar on the T Box- like that ever stopped us before.

Since the outing is back to Early February, we can enjoy the Super Bowl on our last night together. For us Steelers fans, there are two Penguins games to distract us from our misery from the inevitable Steeler-less Big Game.
