Contrary to older literature still floating around, many people do NOT develop a rash when infected with Lyme disease. Nationally, less than 10% of children get a rash (Dr. Jones, CT). Late and chronic stages of Lyme disease tends to bring on additional skin-related changes that can be seen below.
