A “Kick-Off” event for the Children’s Behavioral Health Task Force was held in May 2004, with approximately 400 persons, the majority of whom were parents or family members of children receiving services, attending. At the “Kick-Off,” nine committees were formed to address some of the major areas needing reform and to make recommendations for change.
