2010 Fixtures

Results

A very tough day with strong winds and heavy morning rain was ‘enjoyed/endured’ by 25 hearty souls at the testing St.Mellion courses on 30th March – see the website for the results.

Spring meeting

This will be held at Yelverton Golf Club on Tuesday 8th June, play starting from 9am. The morning competition will be a 13 hole medal for the Galleon Salver (holder Steve Blandford), and the afternoon will be an 18 hole individual stableford for the John Nicks Memorial Trophy (holder Mike Stokes). There’s coffee on arrival, a soup and sandwich lunch after the morning competition, and then a two course meal on a rolling basis after concluding the golf. The overall cost of the day will be £40.

The twos sweep will only be held over the 18-hole competition.

DCCGS AGM 2010

As usual this will be held at the Spring meeting after prize-giving – it should take no more than 15-20 minutes so please stay and participate, and send any agenda items to Mike Downing or Neville Taylor.
