DCCGS AGM

Friday 3^rd June 2005

(Held at High Bullen Hotel after the Spring Meeting)

Present ; the majority of those who played during the day

The venues for 2005 were discussed and the following was agreed ;

The financial position of the society presently stands at £165 - this includes 2 pre-paid deposits paid to Windwhistle and Stover Golf Clubs for events to be held later this year.

Our incoming Society Captain w.e.f. 1st July is Geoff Bulley - he has not yet chosen his vice-captain.

There was a proposal to support the charity ' Children's Hospice South-West' this year - this is the same charity as we supported this year, but the 2005 event will be held at Okehampton rather than Honiton in early September.

Those involved were reminded that the longstop date for completion of Kelly Cup 1st round matches is 30th June

Chris Glover commented on the delay and non-adherence to the published startsheet as evident to him on the day at Highbullen, and mentioned as having previously happened at other events.

MD and/or Pat West will monitor this at future meetings, though the feeling of most members was that this wasn't a serious problem
