DCCGS AGM

(Held at Bowood Golf Club after the Spring Meeting)

Present ; the majority of those who played during the day

The venues/dates for 2010 were discussed and the following was agreed ;

It is not up to us to arrange the South Coast Salver or Wessex Trophy matches in 2010 .

The financial position of the society presently stands at about £125 after covering the Bowood costs. We’ve already paid £50 deposits to Teignmouth and St Mellion golf clubs for future events, and both Yelverton and Long Sutton have requested £50 deposits for bookings as an indication of good intent – this isn’t an issue providing we have sufficient cash to cover such deposits, which is not always so.

We hold a nine year stock of Captains ties which were bought back in Feb 2007

With effect from 1st July our incoming Society Captain is Phil Sudworth - Phil has asked Steve Blandford to be his vice-captain and Steve has agreed.

Those involved were reminded to complete their 1^st round Kelly Cup KO matches by 30^th June, and members were also reminded of the date and venue of this year’s Autumn meeting, which is at Teignmouth golf club on 1^st October.
