Results

The results of the Winter Meeting held at Yelverton in late March appear on the website. Andy Rogers, Adrian Bromfield, Dave Baglow and Dave Cowler qualified to represent DCCGS in the Children's Hospice charity event to be played at Honiton.

Spring meeting

This will be held at Okehampton on Friday 11th June. The morning round will be an 10 hole individual medal for the Galleon Salver, and note the first start time will be at 9.45am. The afternoon will be a 18 hole individual stableford for the John Nicks Memorial Trophy. Coffee on arrival, a lunch comprising bacon baps and a two-course evening meal (main course followed by a sweet) on a rolling basis are included in the overall cost of the day, and a twos sweep will operate over both competitions.

DCCGS Annual General Meeting

In previous years we have had a poor turn-out for the AGM so we decided to hold it this year at the Okehampton meeting, immediately prior to prize giving. This should give more members the chance to participate and have their say in next year's venues etc. The meeting does not usually last more than 30 mins and we hope that you will all stay for the meeting and also witness the hand-over of the captaincy. If you are not able to attend the meeting but have a point that you would like discussed at the AGM, please forward your comment to anyone that you know will be attending, or failing, that Nev or Mike
