Taking the Deal

You decide to sleep on the decision and wait until morning.

In most circumstances, this is a good decision, but in times like these, wasting a precious moment can mean life and death for the entire human race.

While you're thinking the decision over, U-2 spy planes are running reconnaissance missions over the island, hoping to gather more intel.

One of these planes is shot down by an anti-aircraft, surface-to-air missile. The plane and pilot are lost in the crash.

Waking up to this news, your Chief of Staff informs you that the Cuban military does not possess surface to air missiles capable of shooting down a U-2 spy plane.

In fact, only one other country (other than the U.S.) has the capability to do so...

How do you respond?

1. Attack Cuba

2. Reach out to Khrushchev and attempt to accept the deal
