Breach the Blockade

You give the order to the captains of the ships to run the blockade. You will not allow the U.S. to dictate terms to the U.S.S.R.

However, the U.S. destroyers have orders to fire upon any ship not heeding the blockade.

They sink the ships you told to challenge the blockade.

This cannot stand. No matter how much you want to avoid war, war is not at your feet.

The war with the U.S. quickly becomes nuclear as the U.S. fires a preemptive strike on Russia from its missiles in Turkey. You have no choice but to return fire.

The resulting devastation and fallout leave the world in shambles and the human race teetering on the brink of extinction.
