In 1959, Fidel Castro finally gained control of Cuba after leading a communist revolution on the island.
Two years later, the new American president authorized an invasion of Cuba in an effort to topple the communist government. Luckily the Cuban forces were able to push back the American backed effort.
You feel for Castro. Attempting to defend Cuba from America, who had nuclear weapons, had to be terrifying. Communist countries must ban together to prevent the corruption of capitalism from spreading around the world.
It is no surprise, especially after Kennedy's failed invasion attempt, that Castro has reached out to you for help in defending Cuba against the Americans.
