Bay of Pigs

Kennedy, the young, newly elected President of the United States, authorizes an invasion of Cuba.

While this invasion does not include U.S. troops, there is little doubt where the invaders, Cuban exiles, were trained.

America.

Luckily, you were tipped off to the invasion ahead of time and were able to position troops in the right positions. When the invaders stormed ashore, they quickly realized that they did not have the element of surprise. To cap it off, the young President Kennedy, was reluctant to use the U.S. air force to support the attack, hoping to be able to claim that they were not behind it.

The attempted invasion is ended swiftly.

This underhanded action has eliminated any chance of a relationship with the United States. Cuba is under serious danger. While this attack failed, the next may not.

This leaves you one choice.
