2) Snow plowing Discussion

o Some of the beach roads were not plowed over the winter and questions were raised as to why. Not all street have been willing to do this. Primary the beach side of Angelica have and the other side have not due to concerns about converting their street to semi-private. Several people shared how the town process works.

§ Up to each street to decide to engage the town for help.

§ Town asks for 100% of street to agree

§ One form to allow the town to plow

§ One form to allow the town to fix road. By filing this form, give up private access to road, but road remains semi-private

§ Town will inspect to ensure that street is up to standard. Will be posted in the fall that street status. Done on a yearly basis to request it each time.

§ Street responsible for cost to town for materials

§ Road must allow for the trucks to turn around. Some of the cul-de-sacs can’t be serviced due to this reason.

3) Concern raised over how the drain pipe between Bay and Oliver Street on the beach has gotten bigger over the winter. Concern was over safety especially in high tide when the pipe is underwater.

o Motion raised and passed to Form a committee to investigate the pipe, understand the dangers and review options and costs to repair. Committee to be led by: Vic Horvitz, Jackie LeClair, Judith Murray

4) Discussion on Raymond hall ceiling painting

o Conner Walters – Stood up and provided a speech in favor of keeping the ceiling un-painted. He mentioned the traditions of many generations who have written their names.

o Since this is a hot-button topic, the ceiling was not painted during the renovations last summary.

o A vote to be held in September 6th meeting as to make the decision to paint the ceiling. Some options include: paint it call, paint ceiling and not rails, no painting
