2) Crescent Beach clothing for sale Jackie Leclair is selling Crescent Beach T-shirts and sweatshirts this summer. See the web-site for pictures.

3) Swim lines are not yet in. There is still a plan to get this out once the volunteers are lined up to help.

4) Seaweed crew is in place and they did the first clean-up Friday, June 29th. For the first few weeks, they will work from 7am to 9am Tues thru Friday. There will be an additional clean-up tomorrow morning by a smaller crew just to make sure the area where we have races are OK for Sunday.

5) The “We love our children” sign was replaced.

6) The Marchettis are taking care of putting out the U.S. Flag in the Angelica/Silvershell triangle.

7) The family cookout is still on for this year on August 4th. Like always, volunteers to help setup, cook and cleanup are sought. We will need desserts and salads, but please talk to Bob for anyone who wants to bring something. Please Respond to the CBIA evite that will be sent out near the end of July to help provide head counts for food.

8) July 14th. Saturday Cocktail party at Raymond hall. More details will be posted, but volunteers for bringing “light” appetizers are sought.

9) One coffee hour is currently planned this summer at Gail Pinshaw’s home on August 22nd. Need 4 more volunteers to host. Please see posted signs or ask Ben Gleason or Mary O’Keefe for details or to volunteer.

10) A separation in the water drain pipe has opened on the beach. The board will let the Town of Mattapoisett be aware for they have responsibility and who had performed a repair a few years ago.

11) There was a discussion on campfires on beach. The issues are late night unattended fires, smoke, and lack of proper cleanup. Suggestions included posting the fire department rules and permitting process.

>> >> MOTION PASSED to research whether campfires be banned on the beach. Andrea Shanelly, Alan Fine, Alan Pinshaw, Victor Horiwitz volunteering to research the topic and report back in the next meeting.

12) There was a discussion on the speeding in the neighborhood and on Angelica. Cars to and from Point Connett speeding are an issue. Suggestions included asking town to put portable speed monitoring sign on Angelica, put back the cross walks triangles back in place (note: they can’t be in the street but on the side of street), contacting the Point Connett Association to remind their association to slow down, and more signage on Angelica.

The board volunteered to reach out to the Point Connett Association and the police department.

13) Races on the beach. CBIA funded ice creams and awards
