This is a note from Carol and Bob Nichols of 31 Angelica Avenue.
One in three people will face cancer in his or her lifetime, but no one has to face it alone. On Sept. 18, 2011, the participants of the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will change the odds for patients facing all forms of cancer.
Every day at Dana-Farber scientists push towards groundbreaking new discoveries as compassionate caregivers treat our hopeful patients. Please turn up your volume and learn more about Dana-Farber's life saving mission.
Hello Family and Friends,
My 15 month old great nephew, Connor McAuley, was recently diagnosed with a neuro blastoma. He has been operated on and the tumor removed. We are hoping and praying that this is the end of it! To show our support and love for him and his family we will walk as Connor's Crew. All are welcome to join our team or to support team members by donating to the Jimmy Fund.
Connor is the son of Gretchen and Brian McAuley and the grandson of Bill(my brother) and Marybeth Mansfield and Gail McAuley.
Cancer touches all of us, and we must stop this disease in its tracks. Every dollar I raise is another step along the road to finding cures for cancer. Please support my efforts by giving generously and help reach the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Thank you for your support and love.
Carol
