The Championship round will consist of a best of 7 game series - the first team to 4 wins will be declared the champion.

Set-Up:

Teams start each game with rock-paper-scissors to determine who throws first.

Each team will position the females at one set of boards and the males at the other set of boards.

Each set of boards has 4 bags per team that are thrown with the players from each team alternating throws. After all bags are thrown, the players at the other board throw the bags back at the opposite board. In each round, only one team scores.

The team that scores, throws first in the next round. If no points were scored, the team that threw first last throws first again.

Scoring:

A bag on the board (Woody) is 1 point. A bag going in the hole (Cornhole) is 3 points. Net Scoring: At the end of the round, subtract the lower team’s point from the higher. Example: At the end of a round, your team scores 5 (one in the hole and 2 on the board) and the other team scores 4 (one on the hole and 1 on the board). Then your team scores 1 point for that round.

Each game goes to 21 points, and you must win by 2 points.

Teams do not have to hit 21 exactly and can go over.

Any bag which hits the ground before landing on the board is a foul and the bag is pulled (other bags are replaced if moved).

If any part of the bag is touching the ground, it is a foul, and the bag is pulled.

Throwing Line: Players should throw bags from behind the front edge of the board. Bags can knock other bags off the board. If a bag is knocked into the hole by another bag, the fallen bag counts as 3 points

Violations

Any bag pitched when the player has made contact with, or crossed over the front edge of the board.

A bag pitched from a different pitcher’s box than the first bag.

Any bag that contacted the court or the ground before coming to rest on the board

Any bag removed from the board before scoring has been agreed upon for that bag

The offending team (who touches the bags) forfeits all remaining bags and tallies the score of just the bags thrown before the foul was reported.

A bag that leaves a player’s hand once the final forward swing of the delivery process has started shall count as a pitched bag.

A bag that is accidentally dropped by a player before the final forward swing has started shall not be considered foul and may be picked up and pitched.

League Cost, Prizes, and The Weekly DOUBLE BAGGER

Entry Fee $100 per team

Each week we will collect $10 per team and add it to the money pot for a fun little contest I like to call DOUBLE BAGGER.

In between the 2 matches, we will draw one name from a hat each week and, if you are selected, you will get a chance to throw 2 bags to win the money pot. If you make both bags, then you win the whole pot. If you make 1 out of 2 bags, then you win half the pot, and the other half of the pot will roll over to the next week to be won. If the first person that gets drawn does not make any bags, then we draw again, and that person will get a chance to win the pot. We draw a total of 3 times max a week. If after 3 draws nobody hits anything then the full pot rolls over to the next week. Once your name is selected and you have a shot at the pool, it will not be eligible again until all other eligible names have been drawn.

If, on the last week there is still money in the pot we will keep drawing until someone hits 2 bags to win the entire pot.

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT NOT EVERYONE WILL GET A CHANCE TO THROW, AND IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE SOME PLAYERS MAY GET MORE THAN 1 CHANCE TO THROW

Prizes:

CHAMPION - $500, bragging rights, the envy of all your friends, and maybe a trophy
