LaMALFA WINS OMAHA HI LO WITH SPECTACULAR FINAL HAND

Omaha Hi saw all 8 players at least make it to the break, but quickly thereafter Fern, Eddie P and Brucato were out.

Sitting pretty solid with decent chip stacks were perennial rivals Rich and Scottie D and they found themselves heads up and all in, each with pocket Aces, but the flop produced a flush for Scott and 3 time 2020 event winner Rich Southard was gone and we were had our final 4 players in the money.

Luke was the first out and walked away with 4th place and his 2nd cash of the year. Then the Augman took over, he knocked out reigning 2 time event winner Uncle Bob and went into another heads up battle vs Scottie D with a nice chip lead. Augie offered Scott to “cut the deck for the win” which is strictly forbidden and I implored Augman to bear down and win! And Aug did just that, ending in style with a 4 of a kind to take home high hand, the 4 of a kind carry over and October honors with his 2nd all time Brooktown win. For Scott Davis it was his 7th cash and 4th 2nd place of the year, and puts him in great shape for the very prestigious points title.
