Brooktown Poker Year 17 is underway with a vibrant game of dealers choice to get the blood pumping!

Congrats again to Augie, and thank you for a GREAT job hosting

It was great to have 11 players and play with 2 tables again, we had a beautiful transfer of trophy to our 2020 Champion Augie LaMalfa and, how about this, our final 4 tonight were all players that were in the satellite last year.

Everyone was happy to see Pete Costello, fresh off kicking coronavirus, back and playing well. Pete took home 4th place and $82.

While those of us who were eliminated took advantage of the free table and played a good cash came, our final 3 battled for the W and the 1000 points. 2019 champ Jay Fern, fresh off a hangover and actually working in his branch 12 days in row somehow kept his eyes open and clear with a strong 3rd place finish, which left us, for the first time, a heads up battle between Handsome and Blonde Scotty Boles and debonair and greying Mike Altilio.

Altilio in the midst of the longest current winless streak of the players in the league at 53 events, and Boles coming off a win in his most recent event locked up in epic (3 hands?) battle of No Limit Hold Em after a night where the limit games were actually a popular choice amongst the dealers....Mike ends his streak and took home the $$$ the fame, and the girl (I'm assuming Mike's Uber driver was a female, although it's quite possible he passed out on the ride home).

Excellent night boys, and we look forward to getting together in 4 short weeks at Eddie P's!!
