Peter Thomson, the son of
Thomas Thomson, the son of
John Thomson, Jr., the son of
John Tomson, who immigrated from England to Massachusetts about the year 1621.
John Thomson Jr. was the great grandfather of Dr. Asaph Thompson of Norridgewock, Maine. He was the son of Lt. John Tomson and his wife, Mary Cooke Tomson, of Middleborough, Massachusetts.
John Thomson Jr. was married to Mary Tinkham Tomson, the daughter of Ephraim Tinkham and his wife, Mary Browne.
