Metaxourgio is located next to Omonia, it is a unique neighborhood in Athens, a haven for arts and culture, this area gives the impression of being in transition, unfinished, and this is its main interest.

All these factors made that Metaxourgio became a fashionable place, many bars, restaurants, night club are located, but also cultural venues. Development of night club is particularly intense on the axis of Piraeus boulevard and Iera Odos, you will find there the very famous nightclub "VOX" and "Iera Odos".

During the recent years a new type of resident have set down in Metaxourgio and Kerameiko, we could compare them with the Parisian bobos of Belleville.
