Ambracian gulf: also known as the Gulf of Arta, it is a gulf of the Ionian Sea in northwestern Greece. About 40 km long and 15 km wide. The towns of Preveza, Amphilochia, and Vonitsa lie on its shores. A underwater tunnel allows to pass the channel between Aktio and Preveza. The gulf is quite shallow, and the water is warmer and less salty than the Ionian see, it forms a rich ecosystem particularly appreciated by migratory birds.
Chania: Located in the north-west of Crete, Chania is famous for its old Venetian city-center.
