Teacher action research is perhaps most commonly supported through master's degree programs for practicing teachers (Shosh & McAteer, 2016). The Pecha Kucha session “Teacher Action Research: What Keeps it Going After the Master’s Degree?” explored the personal experiences of three graduates of Moravian College’s action research based graduate education program and how their post-master’s degree action research continued through new inquiries in contexts related to continued public school classroom study, advanced doctoral preparation, and the wider dissemination of action research through popular press publication.
