2021 Proceedings: An ARNA Renascence
presented by Nathan Snyder and Candace Kaye
Co-Editors of the 2021 ARNA Conference Proceedings
with support of Ana Espinosa, Administrative Assistant and gratitude to Joe Shosh
Introduction
We as the co-editorial team of the 2021 ARNA Proceedings are delighted to present the renascence of the ARNA Conference Proceedings format. Renascence is a noun derived from the Latin word renascentem meaning born again.
The Action Research Network of the Americas 2021 virtual conference was entitled, Co-Creando Conocimento Empoderando Communidades/Co-creating Knowledge, Empowering Communities. We have chosen to return to that theme to support the ongoing ARNA focus of knowledge mobilization with a renascence of a complete presentation of the conference.
You will find in these 2021 ARNA Proceedings a rebirth celebration of the diverse expert voices who created and presented at the first virtual ARNA conference directed from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We hope you enjoy this renascence as we continue to build our strong connected community and move forward as the Action Research Network of the Americas!
Beginning in 2014, ARNA has curated our annual conference proceedings to emphasize our commitment to knowledge mobilization. While these proceedings are unable to capture the rich and nuanced conversations that take place during the diverse sessions at the annual conferences, they can chronicle and celebrate the vast research being conducted by our members. Adding to ARNA’s continued growth, the proceedings editorial board has refined the format of the published proceedings to offer this renascence as follows:
An Introduction
A Link to the 2021 ARNA Annual Report that offers the participatory history of the 2021 conference.
Links to the Three Keynote Addresses
A Reprint of the ARC 2021 Conference Report
Links to Accepted Abstracts and Full Papers listed alphabetically by title and presenters, within each of the three 2021 conference weekly themes with links to available full papers submitted to the 2021 Proceedings.
The Action Research Network of the Americas would like to extend our gratitude to all of our members and applaud you for the ongoing positive impact of your research efforts.
