The Diepio Streamliner Guide

1. Overview Streamliner is a level 45 tank that branches off of Gunner and Hunter, and it has some features from both of those classes: Gunner's reload and Hunter's range. That means that leveling up to it is entirely based on your own preference (farming with Machine Gun/Gunner or sniping stuff with Sniper/Hunter). Each Streamliner bullet deals 20% of Basic Tank's damage, meaning that 5 Streamliner bullets = 1 Basic Tank bullet. Note: Streamliner isn't a tank that can so casually reach 1m when used right, not in FFA at least. However that shouldn't discourage you from using the tank since it's very fun to use. Only one person has reached 1m+ with it in FFA, and that is Corrupt X. Snapwing has reached 1m+ in 2 teams, and d2xy.0 in 4 teams. 2. Builds Just like with most other tanks in the game, glass builds work the best for Streamliner. However, since Streamliner basically has one of the highest, if not the highest reload in the entire game, 7 reload is just unnecessary. The optimal build for Streamliner would be 0/0/0/7/7/7/5/7, and I highly recommend you use that build. There are some other builds, such as 0/0/0/6/7/7/6/7, 0/0/0/7/7/7/6/6 and 0/0/0/6/7/6/7/7. Note: Streamliner requires better aim than spammers such as Twin and Triplet since the bullets are 100% focused in a straight line, not to mention that the bullets are also small, being just a bit bigger than Autogunner's bullets.

3. Techniques Spraying - The most common Streamliner technique, but yet so useful. Since the bullets are 100% focused, shaking your barrels a bit as you fire makes the bullets spread out a bit, which means that you're more likely to hit your enemy with some bullets at least, since they can't dodge all of them. Spraying is very useful for finishing enemies off when they have low health. Also, if a Landmine or Stalker appears on the leaderboard, spray your bullets and their position will be revealed before they can even attempt to ram you. Taking advantage of your FOV - Streamliner may be a spammer to a degree, however it's outclassed by focused spammers such as Triplet, Sprayer etc. However, there is one thing that Streamliner has and the other focused spammers don't - a bigger FOV. Here is where you start treating Streamliner like a Sniper, you sneak up on your opponents vertically, then surprise them by firing at them. This technique can be pretty useful to finish enemies off or to deal a burst of damage to them before spraying or retreating to finish them off.

4. Soft counters and how to fight them Ranger/Predator - Sure, they seem like a hard counter, but if you know how to dodge well then you can counter them instead, despite their bigger range. What you want to do is lure them towards a corner or the Pentagon nest where they can't run so easily and are vulnerable, in that case just dodge their bullets and spray yours and you'll win. Spreadshot - You want to start fighting one of these by ambushing them. Then, when you deal enough damage, just shoot at them whilst dodging their bullets, and some of your bullets will pass through the Spreadshot's defense and kill it. Battleship & Auto 5 - The reason I put these 2 tanks together are because you fight them pretty much the same - by keeping your distance. You can't get close to either of them because of Battleship's quantity of drones and Auto 5's ghost bullets. Try luring them to the corner (Pentagon nest works as well if it's a Battleship you're up against), then just simply 'snipe them'. Might take a longer time though, just saying. Focused spammers - Start off by ambushing them, then if they are overpowering you and have enough health, retreat and ambush them from a different position again. Once you get them to low enough health, spraying the bullets should secure the kill. Machine Gun/Sprayer's more inaccurate bullets are a pain, so it might take you more time to kill them, compared to Twin/Triplet. Fighter - Whether it's a dragon or glass, Fighter can be a pain for the Streamliner because of its speed and the ability to ambush extremely well. Against glass Fighters, just keep your ground and dodge their bullets whilst firing at them. Note that even the best glass Fighters might die to a Streamliner with a good aim if they are reckless enough. Against dragon fighters, just don't let them get close to you, and fire right next to their bullet cloud. If needed, dodge the bullet cloud so that they have to create another one, then simply repeat.

5. Hard counters and how to fight them Manager/Overlord - These are a pain in the ass for most spammers in general, much more Streamliners, however they are possible to kill with a good enough aim and drone dodging. First off, make sure you attack them first, and when they open up their defense, retreat a bit and fire at them (watch out for repels as they are more annoying). Repeat until they are in a messy situation or they die. Note that Manager isn't hard to kill compared to Overlord since its reload is half of Overlord's. Necromancer - In most cases, if a Necromancer has all of its squares and attacks the Streamliner (whether with push or claw), the Streamliner dies. That's why you need to be good at dodging drones, then you might stand a chance. If they push their drones towards you, fire at them and wear them down, 7 movement speed is a blessing in this battle. If they try to claw you, fire away at one pile of its drones while running away from the other. In any case, get a Necromancer to lose its squares and you win. They are rare in FFA, so you won't be facing them much in there. Factory - A competent Factory is impossible to kill with a Streamliner, not in a 1v1 anyway. Just do your best to avoid them, and if they are assaulting you, try moving to more crowded places since Factory struggles in crowds. Note that Streamliner is also vulnerable in crowds, so you're risking your own death too. Either way, a Factory is either free points or your doom. Autogunner - A Streamliner struggles against these the most because of their ghost bullets, amazing defense and their auto gun which lets them know your location if it's locked onto you. In that case, ambushing is useless as long as the auto gun is locked onto you. Fight them like other spammers, just dodge more and try luring the Autogunner in crowds or in the corner. It will still take a while to kill it, but it's not impossible.
