The Diepio Auto Gunner Guide

How to use Auto Gunner properly

1. Prediction Shots - The first thing that most new people will do when they get auto gunner is think "oh, I bet I can kill a penta head on with this thing!", but then die do a flank guard because they weren't looking at the bullet patterns of that tank. This is one of the key factors to prediction shots, or shooting based on the bullet patterns of your target, for auto gunner, and really, any tank, especially overlord. If people knew how important prediction shots are for an auto gunner, then they'd use it more often. 2. Trust the Auto Turret - Although it may look like it only shoots obstacles, it can track an incoming tank for a kill, or keep it's aim on a set target that you might have shot: but only if you come close to the tank for the auto turret to target, because the auto turret only targets the closest object to you. And also, if you help clear the objects, then the quicker the auto turret can lock onto your target. 3. Know your target inside and out - Yes, "keremal wtf that makes no sense". But trust me, if you know your target without even seeing them, then it will be easy to kill them. But how do I know my target without seeing them? It's quite easy, really. Just look at the bullet pattern of your target. If it has a wide radius, then it's most likely a triple shot, penta, or spreadshot. But in order to know the tank yourself, as a backup knowledge, then you will be triggered, because you have to die. A lot. The reason you have to die a plethora of times is because you need to know the attack patterns of the tank. "but keremal you haven't gone over how to know them inside" and yes, i know that. So in order to know your target inside, you need to get close to them and read their movements. Do they attack? Or do they run? Do they focus on the most deadly tank? Or do they focus on you?

4. Knowing when to run - Honestly, auto gunner is one of the best bullet spammers in the game. But even they have to know when to run, as it's primarily common sense, from tanks such as overlord if they aren't stupid >:/, predator its literally a predator to auto gunner, auto 5, basically anything from the sniper branch. Continuing, if you can't run, then try to get a chance to make an opportunity kite, which is basically running until you are full health. Basically, if you're at low health, against a counter tank, run. 5. Your own movements - Knowing your opponent's movements is good, but it's more important for you to master your own movements. If you're in a tight spot, then you need to be able to clear your way out of there using the auto turret and your movements. For example, if you run into a smasher branch tank coming your way, face them and boost yourself parallel to the smasher's direction, if it's coming towards a wall. If it's coming to sandwich you, then gtfo of there. 6. Always improve - If you can improve yourself at auto gunner, then you can certainly improve at other tanks.
