I received my MS by Research degree from International Institute of Information Technology-Bangalore (IIIT-Bangalore) in June 2012.

My adviser is Prof. Debabrata Das, and my general areas of interest include Green Networking, Power Saving, Video Transmission and Wireless Communication Network.

In my graduate work, I focus on power saving techniques for video transmission over Wireless Network.

More specifically, I have explored video traffic prediction techniques at MAC layers of the network stack to effectively reduce the energy consumption of wireless communication while maintaining acceptable QoS.

In wireless communication, my work was the first to propose leveraging video traffic prediction for power saving.

My research appears in the IEEE VTC Spring 2012 as well as received IEEE- Region-10 Best Paper Award in PG Section (2011), prestigious conferences in the areas of multimedia and wireless networking.
