干潟域は，いろいろな魚類の生育場であることがわかっていますが，漁業面では，潜砂性二枚貝の重要な生産の場です．その代表選手であるアサリの現状の漁獲量低迷については，複合的な要因が指摘されているところですが，場の評価を行うことによって，望ましい干潟の姿を示すことが，今後のアサリ資源の維持増加に対して有益であると考えます．

Tidalflat is known for one of important nursery grounds of coastal fishes, and provides fisheries grounds of bivalves. To assess quality and quantity of the biological production in tidalflat would be lead to precise environmental management of coastal fishes and bivalves.
