Student Council (STUCO)
Student Council is an elected organization voted on by their peers annually. The idea of StuCo is we get a small population of the school who represent the entire student body with decisions to better the building and create a positive environment for the students, staff, and faculty. These are usually the leaders of the student body who make the school a better place with their ideas, activities, and actions. Homecoming is usually Student Council's biggest mission throughout the school year however, there are many more activities and services we do for our district and community. Throughout the year attendance, character, and contribution to the organization are all evaluated to ensure the success of the organization. Anyone can apply for Student Council when elections come out; be sure to keep an eye on the announcements towards the end of each school year. If not elected there is a write-in process and the student council board will then vote if the write-in will be able to be utilized and beneficial to the organization.
