Credit Recovery
Students are enrolled in the elective course “Credit Recovery.” For this course they will receive a regular grade and points toward GPA.
Students will be simultaneously enrolled in “CR Algebra I” or “CR English I” or whatever course they are using a software program to recoup lost credit for a course they have previously failed in the regular classroom. For this course, they will receive only Credit/No Credit and no points toward GPA. They only re-gain the lost credit toward graduation.
Students do not receive a grade for these courses; they only receive Credit/No Credit.

All correspondence courses must be approved through the principal’s office.
* Exception: With the principal’s approval, a student may take a correspondence course for a class that he/she has not taken in the classroom in order to be able to graduate. Students do not receive points toward GPA for these courses. Students do not receive a grade for these courses; they only receive Credit/No Credit.
