Expectations: The following expectations have been established for all students attending either After-School or Saturday Buy-Back Sessions:
Buy-Back Sessions are a time for students to get caught up on missing assignments, work on homework, prepare for tests/quizzes, or silent reading if everything else has been completed. Doing nothing, watching YouTube/Netflix, playing games, etc. are not acceptable.
Buy-Back Sessions are not an acceptable time to socialize or play games. They are meant to buy-back the time that students have missed from school.
Students are responsible for bringing all necessary materials with them to buy-back sessions.
Use of cell phones & other electronic devices not directly tied to instruction are prohibited in buy-back sessions.
Students should refrain from playing games, watching YouTube/Netflix, surfing the web, or doing anything else that is not directly tied to instruction.
Students must remain on campus after school prior to the start of the buy-back session and are not allowed to leave campus prior to the start of a buy-back session. Failure to meet this condition will lead to excusal from buy-back session.
Failure to Meet Expectations: Failure to meet the above specified expectations will lead to removal from the buy-back session in which attendance credit will not be earned. Also, consideration will be made on whether students will be eligible to attend future buy-back sessions for credit if expectations are not met.
