Highland Ram Family,
Tomorrow, 9/3/25, the front teacher and visitor parking area and the front entrances to the school will be closed to parents, students and staff. This is the parking area up closer to the building, in front of the building, by the sidewalk. Idaho Power will be removing inactive power lines and poles and need the space to perform this task safely. Visitors, students, and staff will please park in either the gravel lot or the South parking lot and enter in one of the side doors North or South of the school. Please do not park in assigned spots that are numbered in the South parking lot. Thank you for adapting and working to keep everyone safe. Please contact Principal Wallace with questions or concerns.

ATTENDANCE
Attendance is the most important factor in a students success at school. As a result, we want students to attend on time, in school, every day. Please make attendance a priority and please communicate with the school for emergencies or other events that arise that may prevent your student from attending. We do understand that there are reasons at times a student cannot attend in person but is still able to work virtually. The Highland Virtual Present Request Form is not a request for approval for long-term online work, but it is available to students who may need to miss school for personal reasons (funerals, extracurriculars outside of school, family events, etc). We do not use this for medically excused absences. This is only available to students who are passing classes and do not have attendance issues, like truancies. The form must be completed and approval granted from teachers and school administration prior to the days requested. Highland School Administration will email the student and parent/guardian with the decision regarding approval of a request. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.Â
