GOAL(s):
The goal that I had for my project was to understand modeling history as well as the industry. I wanted to make for my final product a modeling timeline. The timeline has events and the reason for those events. I planned to use YouTube videos as well as information from other sites to give me more information. I have been very interested in the modeling industry ever since I was younger. I've wanted to go into the modeling industry but was always scared to do so because of my size, and knowing how the modeling industry feels about women who have a little bit of weight.
REFLECTION: What would you do differently in the future?
I learned that changing things in the middle of a project is a little difficult. Having the lack of motivation to do things can also be very hard when you are trying to graduate. I learned a lot about the different eras that happened in the fashion world and why they ended. The thing that worked best for me is having Jim comment on the things that I needed to change or add to the outcome product. It helped me to figure out the things that I needed to change for it to make me get the proficiencies. Changing in the middle of my project was something that I wasn't expecting to do. I think in the end it helped me feel a lot calmer about everything that was happening. I would try to change my time management. There were a few things that were handed in late as well as some things that were poorly done.

OUTCOME:
My project changed a lot through this term. I wanted to apply to modeling agencies, but since I was running out of time as well as that would be expensive, and the fact that some of the top modeling agencies are in NYC or LA, it didn't seem like a good fit. I decided to stick with the modeling, but do the history of modeling. I had to go through a lot of feedback, so I started with what I thought was right. Jim made comments on the first drafts that would help me to make a final draft. With the information that Jim gave me. I went in and made quite a lot of edits to the timeline. Changing things around so they fit the proficiency that I had set in the rubric. I met my goal through perseverance and the drive of wanting to get it done. There were a lot of different things that I had to understand, after all these years I now know the specific meaning of the historical meaning proficiency. Trying to find a possible primary source was a struggle but I wasn't 100% sure to start. I decided to stay with the source that I had contacted for the first project I wanted.
