WHEN FACED WITH AGGRESSIVE DOGS IN THE FIELD

Search and rescue personnel frequently encounter loose dogs during missions. Some are pets and some are strays, running free in the search area. Approximately half a million dogs are lost or abandoned in the U.S. every month.

Loose dogs are responsible for almost 80,000 injuries to humans every year.

This presentation will review some of the important signs and clues that dogs give that may indicate their intention. This information will assist searchers in preventing or protecting themselves from an unfortunate situation
