This will be a all day off site course. The intent is recreate a OHV/ATV/Ground/Mantracking search that EDSAR did that combined all 4 disciplines in one search
You will need to bring your own ATV along with safety gear. Basic safety gear of long pants, ankle high boots, gloves, helmet and googles will be expected. This is not a training for newbies.
Advanced ATV course will have a Skills assessment on Friday night on site. If the instructors deem your skills not up to snuff you don't go out on Saturday. Please dont be offended if this happens. - To register please send a email to registration@sarex.org
This will be an off site course demonstrating 4x4 capabilities on rugged terrain where self and team recovery may be required. This course will go over different levels of vehicle modifications, equipment as well as some practical recovery and repair scenarios that could aid in keeping your teams moving forward in a search. This course will touch on the use of APRS to track multiple teams with Ham Radio technology. Bring your own rig and go out with a few of our long time OHV members who are very well versed in the world of anything off-road.

Kurt started off roading as a Log Skidder and progressed to bigger faster toys. He loves to take off on his RZR, ATV, either of his two jeeps into the back country.
James has been off roading with Kurt for years with his own assortment of toys.
