Due to a recent increase and interest in Anthologies, we are presented with a unique niche in
our episodic delivery. Sundance and Toronto International film festivals both have
episodic/anthology entry options, with many others following suit. Successful Anthologies such
as Love Death + Robots, Black Mirror and American Horror Story have piqued interest in the
format once again. However, It is a long and well-played format with other older successful
Anthologies consisting of The Twilight Zone, Goosebumps and Tales from the Crypt. Many
Horrors have adopted this episodic delivery format, with a new spike in recent productions over
the past decade.
Between each of our episodes, we essentially have focussed on portraying current stereotypes
and trends of social and cultural implications of technology and the comedic and odd ways they
could be (and in some cases have) occurred. We endeavour to help with representation and the
breaking of said stereotypes through comedy, the episodic linking, and the meta-narrative
behind each episode.

WTF (short for When Tech Fails) Anthology is a collection of comedic shorts written and filmed by Perth SAE Creative Media Institute film students for their Bachelor Capstone Production.
Though it is a comedy, we endeavour to plant the question of how technology has shaped or influenced your life after watching. Of course, we expect you to have a good laugh, question your morals and even your life afterwards (it wouldn't be a good comedy otherwise).
The goal is to produce an anthology and collection of shorts worthy of presentation at Film Festivals.
