This Tri was about the stepping up my skills in Rigging and working on going further with it all
This means also stepping into the process of scripting and developing the script to be used to speed parts of the process up like arm and leg automation
For a lot of this Tri I was focusing on the scripting and trying to build a very easy to use and functional rig for the model, while the initial model did have some issues I was able to get another model and finish the project off thankfully
Starting with a basic arm build we find that building the arm multiple times can be time consuming which is where the scripting can be used to speed up the process by automating what needs to be done in duplicating and parenting the different parts together
The scripting is also capable of parenting the controls as well making the process simpler again
Certain parts do still require a hands on touch such as the original joints and controls but the process does help to cut down on a lot of the more time consuming work
Other parts I produced for the rig included the spline setup for the spine making some of the movement more fluid in the way the back works
The controls on the mouth are developed around a ribbon system that has a nice touch of affecting the different joints near it, this process unfortunately does not work with some engines unless built differently and set up in a different way
