Hi, my name is Dannielle!
I have a passion for Graphic Design and am currently in my fourth trimester at SAE studying a Bachelor's Degree in Design and Visual Communications. I have always been inspired by natural elements and try to incorporate them into my creations. I particularly enjoy creating logos and mockups with a minimal and holistic approach. I am always exploring new ideas and enjoy expanding my skills. Feel free to follow my Behance and Instagram!
PROJECT 1
This trimester, we were tasked with creating a campaign for Nudie Juice to help them in attracting attention from people far and wide. The objective of this campaign was to promote and bring in a new audience to a younger demographic aged 16-25 years and increase market share for nudie in the fresh fruit juices category.
My inspiration for this project is from The Big Orange in Harvey, where the cartons of juices will represent a tourist destination.
Process
First step was to sketch two concepts.
Recieve feedback from peers and update designs.
Start digitalising designs on Photoshop.
Add image and adjust contrast, saturation and shadows.
My strategy for this campaign was to design posters that include different scenic landscapes that use vibrant and bright colours. I also included nudie’s characters portraying as people exploring and taking photos of nudie’s products as tourist attractions. The campaign is called “explore with nudie” and will run through the warmer months starting in January to March where we will encourage our audience to venture outside and discover their own backyards through social media.
Billboards will be situated all over the city to display advertisements with QR codes that people can scan to enter a draw to win every flavour of nudie juice. We will also release more ambient advertisements at the front of cafe’s where nudie is sold as this is a perfect way to showcase nudie’s tropical breakfast juice!

COLLABORATIVE WORK
This tri, I had the pleasure of working with Grace! A talented musician who approached me to create an album cover for her new EP "New Beginnings". The design represents the emotions and fears that come with new environments.
The butterfly represents transformation and hope while the leaves also represent growth and renewal. Combining these elements, create the meaning "New Beginnings" with a tranquil colour palate that include blues, greens and white.
PROJECT 2
The objective of this campaign was to create an event by a well-known character and create a social media presence for their company. I chose to create a Music Festival hosted by Moana because it is one of my favourite movies as it is about a girl with a close connection to the Ocean and Mother Earth which I highly resonate with and felt inspired to create my version.
The main campaign was built around two announcement posts which was the releasement for the lineup and tickets. I used motion graphics with audio to hype up our audience and showcased lots of fun activity’s that they could do while on the island. The tag line for Voyage Fest is “Where the sky meets the sea” which is a line from one of the songs in the movie. Lots of blues and greens were also used in the graphics to represent the ocean and the fictional island.
My approach to this project included photo manipulation instead of illustration because I wanted this festival to be perceived as a real event.
I chose a variety of popular artists for the lineup aimed at the specific audience that represented a summer vibe and that would likely be played at the beach or by the pool.
I have named the festival “Voyage Fest” because in the movie they are referred to as voyages and the festival will be held on Te Fiti island, which visitors will have to travel by boat to reach.
