Hey! My name is Craig Visser and I'm a current design student at SAE. I have a passion for design and have fun expressing my creativity through my work. Some of my specialties are creating posters, advertisements, clothing concepts and social media designs. I've been doing these type of designs throughout my whole life and creating my own business in the process. Creating personal and brand designs for clients over 3-4 years! I am currently looking to further expand into my own clothing business in the future.
THE NEW AND IMPROVED WAY TO ADD FLAVOUR INTO YOUR LIFE
This trimester we were required to create a campaign for the Peri Peri sauce range. Reaching a new sub group that are interested in trying new flavour’s and who may not be able to handle the traditional Peri Peri heat.
My idea for this was to create a new and interesting way to add flavour into people’s everyday lifes. I wanted to appeal to an audience who values family and enjoy large, Loving gatherings. I wanted to place emphasis on the Peri Peri sauce range being welcoming to everyone in the family, not just those who love spice bringing families together especially for the holiday season!.
This campaign is targeted for young adults to adults, trying to find a new and exciting way to add flavour into their lives. It will be rolled out through billboards and ads all around Perth’s hotspots, especially in supermarkets and shopping centres! It will go from the end of December all the way through until the end of February as it is the time of year that promotes trying something new with the festivities of New Year’s. This is also the time where families come together to celebrate, and a product that includes all palates and spice tolerances is perfect for these celebrations.

From the start of this project i felt like i had a good understanding of which direction i wanted to go. Bouncing ideas off my peers and coming up with some interesting ideas. I originally wanted to make an Australian theme deign based on culture. After revisions and some feedback i decided to focus on brining people together and taking Peri Peri down a different route reconnecting people together and having quality time with family and what better way to do that over a big family dinner at holiday time. Especially New Years Eve as everyone is gathering together and ready to try new things and achieve there goals coming up with the tag line.

R&B MUSIC FESTIVAL HOSTED BY YOUR AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
The project goal was to create a live social media account through Instagram as a fictional character running a promotional campaign for an event. We had to explore the characters personality, brand and aesthetics to portray a believable and recognisable identity throughout the campaign.
The amazing SpiderMan, a much beloved superhero, is launching an R&B music festival called “Spidey Sounds”. This festival will represent the Spiderman franchise featuring a 360 degree spinning stage in the centre of the “Spidey Web”. The lineup will feature trending artists such as Post Malone, Flume and collaborations with other well known artists to gain followers and recognition.
His strategy was to set up and create a music festival for his fans that range from teenagers to young adults who like to party and have fun. Releasing teasers and running a ticket presale for all his Spidey Crew to get early access to this exclusive event. On the day of the festival, the release of a new “Spidey Special Cocktail” will be sold at half price during happy hour
I started off this project feeling confused and a bit lost with ideas until we had an in-class discussion and bounced our own ideas off each other and started to get some inspiration. I decided to choose SPIDER-MAN X MUSIC FESTIVAL as I have an interest in both the character and entertainment service. I started off by laying out an Instagram grid of 12 posts in photoshop joined together as it was easier and more efficient when trying to connect all the tiles together within the design. I looked at other music festivals such as SNACK, ARCADIA, and more to get some inspiration for my project as these were festivals that have been held in Perth before. After getting the main idea set, i looked towards doing my own research and figuring out a style that would best match this event.
