Altered Negative Print

This is a picture I took during the film section of photo 1 for our leading lines project, but I ended up using a different image for the final print. I tried a few different ways to damage the negative but when I heated and burned them it just destroyed them, so I decided to scratch it up instead, before making my final print.

This image uses selective focus as well as leading lines and formal balance, with the focus on the line in the middle with nothing to either side. I tried several methods for altering my negative, but this was the only successful one.

I wish that the focus was more towards the foreground rather than the mid-foreground.
