I took this image off of the bridge at Wolfe's Neck Farm in a light snowstorm. I stood on the bridge and looked out with the flow of the river and towards the ocean. I chose to create this image because I find Wolfe's Neck beautiful in the summer, and I had never really been there in the winter, so I figured I'd visit.
There's a slight high horizon line, low key lighting, and leading line with the river going off into the distance. And it's all in sharp focus. I took several pictures off of the bridge from several different angles, and I took some into the woods but they didn't have the same depth, they didn't extend as far into the background as this one.
I wanted to show that even in these dreary months, even when it should be warm and sunny by now and its not, there is still beauty in the outdoors. I actually don't go to Wolfe's Neck as often as some other people I know do, but I have been enough that I appreciate the natural beauty of the place. I'm not a huge fan of the weather, and it would have been nice it had been a sunny day, but I had to work with what I had.
