Please join us for Back to School Night on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. This is an important opportunity for you to better understand and appreciate your child’s daily educational experience at RGS.
Discover how we bring our core values to life daily by fostering academic excellence and supporting each child’s personal and academic growth. Individuality, belonging, and service to others are at the heart of our programs and teaching practices.
You’ll also gain insight into our dynamic approach to teaching language arts, focusing on developing strong literacy skills through structured literacy methods and fostering a love of reading and writing. Our math instruction emphasizes hands-on learning and problem-solving to build critical thinking and mastery of foundational skills. Through our thematic curriculum, students engage deeply with integrated content areas, exploring meaningful connections across subjects in an engaging and thought-provoking way.
As in the past, we will offer two sessions, allowing parents to attend two classroom presentations. Parents must use the divide-and-conquer method if you have more than two children in the school. Here are the plans for the evening:
5:30 – Gather in the gym (Please be prompt)
6:00 – First session for classroom presentations
6:45 – Second session for classroom presentations
7:15 – End of evening
We will have limited childcare available in the library for those unable to find other accommodations. Please RSVP for childcare here https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4FA8AA2AA0FBC61-51381625-back#/
