Dear Rio Grande School Community,
I write today to share news of a significant transition at Rio Grande.
After five years of extraordinary dedication, warmth, and service to our school, Anne Moses will retire as the Director of Finance and Operations later this summer. While we will miss her deeply, we know this next chapter—filled with more golf, cave explorations, and well-earned adventures—will be full of joy and discovery. True to her spirit, Anne will not be able to fully step away from Rio Grande, as I am quite sure she’ll continue to be a regular presence on campus.
Whether it was pandemic planning, filling in for recess duty, attending the fourth-grade overnighter, teaching golf at summer camp, explaining finance to our Board of Trustees, or serving wine at one of our many events, Anne has been all in—all the time. She has been both front-facing and quietly working behind the scenes, supporting Rio Grande with 100% dedication. Her contributions have touched every corner of the school, and her steady leadership has helped steward our community through some very choppy waters. She leaves a legacy of heart, humor, and hard work—and we are all better for it.
On a more personal note, Anne has been a steady partner over the years and I will miss her sage advice, adept financial acumen, and biting sense of humor.
As we prepare for this transition, I’m delighted to announce that Lisa Riemondy will be joining us as Anne’s successor. Lisa will begin on June 15, allowing for two weeks of overlap with Anne to ensure a smooth handoff and warm welcome. We look forward to the energy and expertise Lisa brings to the role. We are also thrilled to welcome Brigid Quinn-Seider as our new Director of Development, a key role that supports the long-term health, stability, and financial vitality of our school. Brigid brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to non-profit work—we are excited for the vision and leadership she’ll bring to our advancement efforts. Brigid joins our community on July 1. Brigid Quinn-Seider Director of Development Bio
Please join us in celebrating Anne’s retirement and in warmly welcoming both Lisa and Brigid to the Rio Grande community.
