Illness Policy Reminder and Protocol:
If your student is not well and staying home for the day, please email their *Homeroom Teacher* directly. Email is the most efficient way to ensure they receive the communication and for the absence to be marked as excused.

Join Us for SPARK Night!
We’re thrilled to invite you to SPARK Night on Wednesday, October 23, from 4:30–6:30 PM at Rio Grande School! This interactive evening is designed for students and families to experience the magic of learning together.
Travel through hands-on stations hosted by our Co-Curricular team—Adventure, Science, Art, Performing Arts, Library, PE, and Spanish—led by your child as your personal tour guide. This event is meant to be experienced with your child, so please plan to attend together. Family members and friends are warmly welcome to join in the fun!
There will be no K-6 aftercare on SPARK Night, so please plan accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate curiosity, creativity, and community with you!
Hi The Community Engagement Committee invites you to another special evening intended to support the building of cross-sectional community and connection at Rio Grande School. On Tuesday, November 4th from 5:00-7:00PM, you'll have the opportunity to gather with fellow RGS parents, engage in a learning activity, and discover some new bonds.
You may register as a pair or individually - it's your choice! The purpose is to support sharing of stories and the forming of new relationships.For this evening of engagement there are 3 options. Please indicate your preferred activity and know that we will do our best to place you in that group.
A pizza & salad dinner will be provided along with childcare so that you can fully engage with others during your time. Please note that we will do our utmost to support dietary restrictions for you and your child(ren).
Thank you for being essential participants of the Rio Grande School community, and making this evening both meaningful and enjoyable with your presence!
